Medical Billing and Coding Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Faculty - Medical Billing and Coding Undergraduate - Part-Time Faculty (Virtual).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver course content and assessments while ensuring timely availability of class materials
• Maintain an engaged classroom presence and address student academic issues proactively
• Perform additional duties such as coaching, tutoring, and overseeing student clinical experiences

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in a Healthcare Administration field or Health Information Management, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester credits in a Healthcare Administration field
• Five years of experience in medical insurance or billing and coding within the last ten years
• Must have nine graduate semester credits in Health Information Management or a current national billing/coding credential
• Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Experience in billing and coding applications or teaching Medical Billing and Coding is preferred
