Medical Billing and Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and reconcile payments, create and send claims to insurance, and handle invalid or rejected claims
• Perform claims follow-up and communicate with providers to resolve coding issues
• Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain confidentiality, and provide customer service regarding billing inquiries

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Billing and Coding certificate, diploma, or degree required
• 2-3 years of outpatient billing experience
• Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred, but not required
