Medical Billing and Recovery Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing and Recovery Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with collection efforts for insurance payers and patients
• Perform recovery and payment application of patient accounts
• Review coding, send claims, and work denials and rejections

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience in medical billing or health insurance
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year on-the-job experience in medical billing
• Proficiency with accounts receivable follow up
• Knowledge of medical billing systems and unpaid claims process
