Medical Billing AR Collector
Job Summary
Managing complex accounts receivable for Workers' Compensation, Auto/Personal Injury, and Legal claims, the full-time Medical Billing AR Collector will handle the full billing and collections process, working remotely during Eastern Time business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Manage outstanding accounts receivable for Workers' Compensation, Auto/Personal Injury, and Legal claims
- Handle the complete billing and collections process, including claim submission, follow-up, denials, appeals, and payment resolution
- Communicate with TPAs, employers, insurance carriers, claims adjusters, and attorneys regarding claim status and billing issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in medical billing and accounts receivable collections
- Direct hands-on experience with Workers' Compensation, Auto/Personal Injury, and Legal/Attorney billing and collections
- Experience using Workers' Compensation portals and electronic payer systems
- Strong knowledge of claims, EOBs/ERAs, denials, appeals, and payer-specific billing requirements
