Medical Billing Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service & Collections Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patient billing inquiries and assist in understanding billing statements
• Act as a liaison between patients, the business office, and payors for billing matters
• Resolve outstanding balances efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare systems preferred
• Experience in a medical billing environment with knowledge of third-party payers and terminology preferred
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Bi-lingual in Spanish or Somali is a plus
