Job Summary

Serving as a primary contact for patient billing inquiries, the full-time Medical Customer Service and Collections Assistant will assist patients in understanding billing statements, facilitate account resolution, and act as a liaison between patients and the business office, with potential work-from-home options after initial training.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist patients with billing inquiries and ensure swift resolution of outstanding balances
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, the business office, and payors for billing matters
  • Utilize conflict resolution skills to manage customer relations effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications
  • Experience in a medical billing environment with knowledge of third-party payers and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and related healthcare systems and software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish or Somali is a plus
