Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Collector.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately bill customer accounts and ensure timely remittance
• Follow up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow
• Document activities efficiently and handle billing activity correctly

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance codes (HCPC/ICD-9)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to evaluate and secure necessary documentation for claims
• Experience in editing and resubmitting claims for payment
• Ability to read and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOB/EOP) from payers
