Medical Billing Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Medical Billing Associate will process billing for various insurance types, assist in creating financial statements, and handle customer service issues regarding billing, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Processes billing for Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurances, and self-payments
• Assists in creating timely and accurate financial statements and administers special financial projects
• Handles customer service issues with vendors and clients related to billing concerns

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• At least 2 years of medical billing experience in a medical setting
• Proficiency in report writing, data entry, and spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience with Ceridian and/or MIP preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
