Medical Billing Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Associate to support various functions of the Revenue Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance benefits, medical necessity, and authorization/referral guidelines
• Review and interpret insurance Explanations of Benefits (EOB)/Remittance Advice (RA) and resolve issues
• Collaborate with third-party partners on data and clarification requests

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in insurance verification, specifically with Medicaid and commercial payers
• Experience with Google Suites and online eligibility healthcare tools
• Experience with claims adjudication/follow-up
• Experience navigating state Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, and commercial insurance portals
• 2+ years/Associate Degree preferred
