Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post medical charges, payments, and journal entries to patient accounts accurately and in a timely manner
• Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to process and receive payment for claims
• Verify insurance filing information, resolve coding problems, and ensure receipt of patient registration data

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid
• Ability to handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA
• Proficiency in using billing software for claim processing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality and productivity standards
