Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist for a 2nd shift remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage initial patient intake, including answering calls, collecting information, and processing paperwork
- Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks, while maintaining quality control throughout the process
- Provide support and education to customers regarding products and services, addressing questions and concerns
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Experience with medical equipment is preferred
- Experience in medical billing practices and reimbursement is preferred
- Experience in healthcare administration, patient intake, or insurance verification is preferred
- One year of related work experience is preferred
