Job Summary

Providing essential support to patients and referral sources, the part-time Medical Billing Customer Support Specialist will manage new order intake, conduct insurance verification, and assist with third-party reimbursement processes in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of initial intake, including answering calls, collecting patient information, and processing paperwork
  • Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks while maintaining accurate records and quality control
  • Provide education and technical assistance to patients and referral sources regarding service qualifications and billing processes
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with medical billing practices preferred
  • Familiarity with administrative record management in a medical setting preferred
  • One year of related work experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record when applicable
