Medical Billing Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time Medical Billing Manager will oversee multi-state revenue cycle operations, lead a high-volume billing team, and optimize revenue collection while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor the medical billing team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of accountability
• Oversee the end-to-end billing and collections process across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations
• Manage high volumes of daily claims, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing the clean claim rate

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Proven track record of managing billing operations across a multi-state footprint
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume claims environment
• Advanced proficiency with medical billing software and EHR/EMR systems
• Excellent Excel/data skills
