Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Payor Verification specialist will verify benefits and out-of-pocket amounts for government payors through portals and telephone communications while resolving coordination of benefits issues.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize payor portals and phone calls for benefit verification
• Analyze work processes to maximize efficiency and achieve team goals
• Communicate clearly with payors and patient employers to resolve issues

Required qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in medical billing
• Prior experience in Payor Verification and direct communication with payors
• Intermediate knowledge of computers and related technology
• High school diploma or equivalent, or significant relevant work experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Office 365
