Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Insurance Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm patient eligibility and verify coverage details with Medicare and private insurance providers
• Utilize skills in verification of benefits, quality assurance, and prior authorization processes to identify and resolve issues
• Maintain detailed records of insurance verifications and prior authorization statuses while providing regular reports to management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance verification, or related functions
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
• Additional certifications in medical billing, insurance claims processing, or healthcare administration are a plus
• Proven experience in a coordination or administrative role within the healthcare or medical device industry
• Familiarity with healthcare billing processes is preferred
