Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure daily tasks align with company goals for cash collections and accounts receivable
• Manage the Ready to Bill queue and perform Quality Assurance for claims and invoices
• Review delivery tickets for accuracy and submit secondary billing with appropriate documentation

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college preferred
• 3 to 4 years of experience in medical billing with knowledge of managed care and reimbursement
• Experience auditing documentation for compliance with payer requirements
• Working knowledge of automated billing systems, with CPR+ experience preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding, as well as basic accounting practices
