Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist (Charge Poster).

Key Responsibilities

• Review accounts to ensure accuracy of balance
• Provide account maintenance and manage collection module for accounts 90 days and older
• Post insurance and patient payments to appropriate accounts and research explanations of benefits

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 2 years of experience, or a minimum of 5 years experience without an associate's degree
• Experience in health insurance, medical terminology, and CPT codes
• Proficiency in medical software programs and Microsoft Word, Excel
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
• Empathetic to patient needs and strong customer service skills
