Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist who will manage the medical insurance follow-up process for designated accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, research, and prepare insurance claims for timely submission to insurance carriers
• Respond to inquiries, billing denials, and correspondence efficiently
• Document activities in the client's patient accounting system and maintain reports and records

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with commercial or third-party insurance claims and medical billing/follow-up
• Understanding of various forms, codes (CPT & ICD), and insurance terminology
• EPIC experience preferred but not required
• Certificates, licenses, or Medicare certification are a plus but not required
