Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist to assist with organizing patient medical costs and invoicing for payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Post charges and complete claims to payers
• Submit billing data to insurance providers and process claims
• Obtain pre-authorizations and verification of benefits from insurance companies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3 years of experience in medical billing
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets
• Experience with Collaborate MD, Availity, or LightningStep is a bonus
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Willingness to be flexible in adjusting to new situations
