Job Summary

To enhance revenue cycle performance, the full-time remote Medical Billing Specialist will manage billing and claims processes, resolve complex claim issues, and ensure timely reimbursements while providing exceptional service to health centers and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payer guidelines
• Research and resolve claim rejections, denials, and payment variances while monitoring outstanding accounts receivable
• Communicate professionally with patients and insurance carriers to address billing inquiries and support operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of experience in medical billing, insurance collections, or denial management
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing regulations
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
