Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist for a full-time, remote position in the US.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound client calls, providing excellent customer service
• Billing all State funded/Medicaid type agencies monthly prior to the 15th, including follow-up on outstanding aging items
• Perform data entry, scanning documents, and provide support to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma and/or GED
• 1-3 years' experience in call center and/or customer service-related position
• 1 or more years of claim experience
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
