Medical Billing Supervisor

Job Summary

Managing a remote team of Medical Claims Specialists, the full-time Medical Billing Supervisor will oversee claims submission, resolve outstanding issues, and train staff while ensuring compliance with agency requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for team inquiries and coordinate with internal departments and agencies
• Audit team performance, monitor metrics, and manage the claims process to ensure timely payments
• Train new and existing employees on department procedures and assist in developing claims processes for new agencies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical billing or claims processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and complex projects
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to mentor and guide team members
