Job Summary
To support nationwide Acute Care Service Facilities, the part-time Medical Call Center Representative will triage inbound calls, manage provider schedules, and facilitate communication between hospital staff and providers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between hospital staff, nurses, pharmacies, patients, and providers
- Triaging inbound calls for multiple TeamHealth facilities and accurately documenting all calls
- Manage and maintain daily provider schedules, relaying any changes to staff and management
Required qualifications
- Approximately one year of office experience in a medical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Experience handling stress and conflict effectively
