Medical Call Center Representative

Job Summary

Providing excellent customer service and patient support, the part-time hourly Medical Call Center Representative will verify patient information, handle inbound and outbound calls regarding prescription benefits, and ensure compliance with federal health care guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient information and assist with prescription benefit inquiries
• Gather and review patient billing and medical information
• Operate in accordance with federal health care program guidelines

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent call center experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy practices is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills for remote work issues
