Medical Call Center Representative

Job Summary

Dedicated to providing exceptional patient support, the part-time Medical Call Center Customer Service Representative will work remotely, assisting patients with prescription benefits and verifying their information during scheduled shifts from 8am to 8pm MST, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients regarding their prescription benefits
• Verify patient information and gather relevant billing and medical details
• Handle inbound and outbound calls while adhering to Federal Health Care Program guidelines

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent call center experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy practices is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to maintain a distraction-free workspace and work full scheduled shifts without interruptions
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills for common remote work issues
