Medical Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and motivated, the full-time Medical Claims Analyst will manage DBA and War Hazards claims remotely, ensuring compliance and timely support for personnel on defense contracts while collaborating with global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process "M" Case claims and claims open for recovery, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance
• Contact insureds, claimants, and medical providers for information and medical verifications to support claims processing
• Document medical report contents and maintain communication with the Team Manager regarding claim activities and issues

Required qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education and experience
• Two or more years of experience as a Claim Clerk or similar role, with knowledge of claim processing
• Understanding of basic medical terminology and relevant medical tests for claimed conditions
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand and address customer needs
