Medical Claims Processor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Claims Processor I responsible for the accurate and timely processing of medical claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and review claims data while interpreting medical coding and terminology
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex claims using available resources
• Ensure claims are processed in compliance with company policies and deadlines

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6-12 months of data entry or medical office experience preferred
• 10-key proficiency of 135 spm
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-9/10 codes preferred
