Medical Claims Processor

Job Summary

Utilizing resources efficiently, the full-time Medical Claims Processor will accurately enter, review, and resolve simple to moderately complex medical claims while working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Enter claims data into the system while interpreting coding and understanding medical terminology
• Review, analyze, and resolve claims using available resources for moderately complex claims
• Adjudicate claims to meet quality and production standards, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6-12 months of data entry or medical office experience preferred
• 10-key proficiency of 135 spm and typing speed of a minimum of 35 wpm
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-9/10 codes preferred
• Experience with the Facets platform is a plus
