Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder 1 - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to track un-coded charts and complete coding assignments
• Review medical records to assign appropriate ICD-10 CM/PCS codes and ensure data integrity
• Report safety incidents and comply with regulations while maintaining confidentiality and productivity standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or Diploma program preferred
• Preferred certifications include CPC, CCS, CCA, RHIT, RHIA, or CPMA
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Understanding of computers and competence in basic software programs
