Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder- US (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services provided
• Utilize ICD-10 coding standards to ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, coding updates, and changes in regulations affecting coding practices

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in medical coding
• Strong understanding of ICD-10 coding and compliance regulations
• Proficiency in medical billing systems and electronic health record (EHR) software
• Familiarity with medical office operations and complex medical records
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations related to medical coding
