Job Summary

A company is looking for a Primary Medical Coder to perform medical coding tasks for clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medical coding on sponsored clinical trials and coordinate coding activities for basic studies
• Review coded data and provide feedback to senior medical coders and clinical data managers
• Maintain coding integrity and assist with the creation of process documents related to medical coding

Required Qualifications

• Experience in medical coding for clinical trials
• Knowledge of medical coding conventions and processes
• Familiarity with medical coding dictionaries and custom dictionary searches
• Ability to develop and maintain study documentation for coding
• Experience in providing study-specific coding metrics
