Medical Coder II-Psychiatry

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder II-Psychiatry for a remote position in the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and sequence ICD-10, and or CPT/HCPCS codes from patient medical records
• Communicate clearly with providers during the querying process
• Review and submit encounters related to evaluation & management, procedures, testing, and denials

Required Qualifications:

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential
• Three years of relevant coding experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets
• Proficient computer knowledge including MS Office
• Outstanding organization skills and time management
