Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder to review documentation and ensure accurate coding based on guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review physician orders and documentation for accuracy and compliance, making necessary corrections
• Provide technical guidance to staff in creating medical orders and using the electronic records system
• Ensure timely processing of medical orders and follow up on delinquent orders while identifying related issues

Required Qualifications

• ICD10 Coding training/experience required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Home Care
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with clinical information systems required
• Background in Medicare regulations in Home Care
• Minimum of an Associate Degree preferred
