Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and review HCC risk adjustable charts through retrospective reviews
• Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant ICD-10 coding for risk adjustment submission
• Contribute to audit accuracy and process improvements while maintaining compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM coding with a strong understanding of HCC risk adjustment
• Completion of an AAPC or AHIMA coding program (e.g., CPC, CCS-P, CRC)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant coding/audit experience
• Solid understanding of CMS coding guidelines and HIPAA-compliant data handling
• AA/AS degree or equivalent experience
