A company is looking for a Medical Coding Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize available coding resources to determine appropriate codes for medical procedures
• Maintain an understanding of coding regulations and guidelines
• Apply knowledge of coding initiatives and directives to select appropriate codes and modifiers

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Medical Coding Education
• One-year of progressive coding experience
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or equivalent (preferred)
