Medical Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Major Medical Collections Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze daily denial management correspondence to resolve issues
• Review and resolve assigned accounts daily as directed by the supervisor
• Identify payer performance trends and adhere to regulatory/payer guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 6+ months of experience with major medical billing or collections
• Knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOB) and medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCs)
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows
