Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Insurance Collections Specialist (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

Follow up on unpaid invoices sent to payers and research denials
Manage a portfolio of payers, ensuring timely processing of collections, aging, and denials
Assist with billing efforts by eliminating denials and maintaining updated payer rules

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a call center environment
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the medical industry, with familiarity in medical terminology
High school diploma or GED
Experience with DME and Home Healthcare preferred
Ability to maintain a dedicated workspace and participate in virtual meetings
