Medical Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Proficient in managing payer accounts, the remote Medical Collections Specialist will ensure timely processing of invoices, research denials, and meet performance metrics while supporting the Revenue Cycle department.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of payers to ensure efficient collections and timely processing of aging accounts and denials
• Achieve high volume performance metrics by processing a minimum of 5 claims per hour
• Assist with billing efforts and maintain compliance with internal and external standards

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Insurance Collections
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• High school diploma or GED
