Medical Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle department, the remote Medical Collections Specialist will manage payer accounts, research denials, and ensure timely processing of invoices while meeting performance metrics.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of payers to ensure efficient collections and timely processing of aging and denials
• Process a minimum of 5 claims per hour while maintaining compliance with internal and external standards
• Perform month-end reconciliations and assist with billing efforts to eliminate denials

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Insurance Collections or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• High school diploma or GED
