Job Summary

Overseeing all aspects of account management, the full-time Medical Communications Account Director will manage and mentor staff, establish client relationships, and contribute to new business development while working remotely or from the Stamford, CT headquarters.

Key responsibilities
  • Handle daily management for assigned book of business and oversee account team workload
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met
  • Participate in new business development by writing proposals and developing presentations for current accounts
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in science or business preferred
  • Seven plus years of relevant experience in management, marketing, or communications within a scientific setting
  • Management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical communications preferred
  • Ability to quickly grasp and retain scientific and technical concepts
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong presentation skills required
