Job Summary
Overseeing all aspects of account management, the full-time Medical Communications Account Director will manage and mentor staff, establish client relationships, and contribute to new business development while working remotely or from the Stamford, CT headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Handle daily management for assigned book of business and oversee account team workload
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met
- Participate in new business development by writing proposals and developing presentations for current accounts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in science or business preferred
- Seven plus years of relevant experience in management, marketing, or communications within a scientific setting
- Management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical communications preferred
- Ability to quickly grasp and retain scientific and technical concepts
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong presentation skills required
