Medical Customer Service Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service & Collections Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patient billing inquiries and assist in understanding billing statements
• Facilitate communication between patients, the business office, and payors for account resolution
• Manage and resolve outstanding balances in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare systems preferred
• Background in a medical billing environment with knowledge of third-party payers and terminology preferred
• Bi-lingual in Spanish or Somali is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential
