Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service Rep with Meditech experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from patients regarding billing inquiries and resolve complaints
- Process patient billing inquiries, explain charges, insurance coverage, and facilitate resolution of discrepancies
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a customer service specialist, preferably in a medical setting
- Knowledge of medical benefits, revenue collection, and patient records
- Familiarity with insurance company payment processes and billing requirements
- Experience with financial assistance applications and handling patient complaints
