Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service Rep with Meditech experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and emails from patients regarding billing inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Process patient billing inquiries, explain charges, insurance coverage, and facilitate resolution of discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a customer service specialist, preferably in a medical setting
  • Knowledge of medical benefits, revenue collection, and patient records
  • Familiarity with insurance company payment processes and billing requirements
  • Experience with financial assistance applications and handling patient complaints
