Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from patients regarding billing inquiries and resolve complaints
- Process patient billing inquiries and explain charges, insurance coverage, and payment options
- Update and maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a customer service representative, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOB), revenue collection, and patient medical records
- Familiarity with insurance reimbursement policies and third-party operating procedures
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom/Webex
