A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and emails from patients regarding billing inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Process patient billing inquiries and explain charges, insurance coverage, and payment options
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a customer service representative, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOB), revenue collection, and patient medical records
  • Familiarity with insurance reimbursement policies and third-party operating procedures
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom/Webex
