Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide phone customer service to members regarding claims and benefits, answering over 50 calls daily
  • Analyze situations and communicate effectively, including handling frustrated or angry callers
  • Document all call aspects clearly and concisely while maintaining confidentiality
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Practical knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis/procedure coding desired
  • Experience in claim processing or customer service, preferably in a medical/dental office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate multiple windows
  • 10-key proficiency of 105 spm net and typing speed of 25 wpm net
