Job Summary

Providing phone customer service to members of multiple benefit plans, the full-time Medical Customer Service Representative will analyze caller needs and deliver timely and accurate responses while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer over 50 calls daily regarding claims and benefit questions, providing solutions and confirming eligibility
  • Communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally
  • Document all call aspects clearly and concisely while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to service level standards
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Practical knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis/procedure coding preferred
  • Experience in claims processing or customer service, particularly in a medical/dental office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate multiple computer screens
  • 10-key proficiency of 105 spm net and typing speed of at least 25 wpm net
