Job Summary

Providing essential support to patients and healthcare providers, the fully remote Medical Customer Service Representative will manage billing inquiries, explain insurance coverage, and assist with financial options while working within CST hours.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and emails from patients regarding billing inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Process patient billing inquiries, explain charges and payment options, and maintain accurate patient records
  • Validate patient coverage and escalate unresolved issues to leadership as necessary
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a customer service representative, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOB) and insurance reimbursement policies
  • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse and Allscripts preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom/Webex
