Job Summary
Resolving patient healthcare accounts, the full-time Medical Customer Service Representative will negotiate payment plans with patients and guarantors while maintaining a 96% quality score, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate payment plans with customers through inbound and outbound calls using an auto-dialer
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer encounters to ensure superior customer service
- Execute follow-up procedures for third-party approvals, billing, and collection of overdue accounts
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in healthcare customer service or a healthcare certification/degree
- Experience handling a high volume of inbound or outbound calls
- Ability to access multiple databases simultaneously for customer information
- Demonstrated experience in live documentation of customer interactions
