Medical Device AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team of medical device developers, the full-time Medical Device AI/ML Engineer will engage in software development and regulatory projects, focusing on developing machine learning models, writing compliant software, and collaborating on regulatory documentation, all while working remotely with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design, training, and validation of machine learning models, including dataset curation and performance analysis
• Write clean, efficient code that adheres to functional requirements and regulatory standards, including drafting software tests
• Collaborate with regulatory professionals to create technical documents that comply with FDA guidelines

Required qualifications

• PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a professional software engineering role
• 3+ years of experience with image processing and deep neural networks
• Fluency in Python and PyTorch
• Willingness to travel 2-3 times a year for client visits and team retreats
