Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing clinical-stage biotechnology company, the remote Medical Director, MD Licensed will provide medical leadership across clinical development programs, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and oversee Translational Medicine efforts to ensure the successful completion of early-stage clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and develop clinical strategies for therapeutic hypotheses and trial designs
• Establish and maintain relationships with academic investigators, pharmaceutical partners, and patient advocacy groups
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely completion of clinical activities and regulatory submissions

Required qualifications

• An advanced degree (MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) with a minimum of 2+ years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology drug development
• Experience in inflammation and immunology is required
• Proven track record of regulatory experience, including interactions with FDA/EMA
• Experience in preclinical and early-stage clinical development
• Strong collaborative skills and strategic thinking in research and drug development
