Medical Director

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic medical team, the full-time VP, Medical Director will manage junior staff, drive business growth initiatives, and provide strategic scientific direction in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Scientific Associates and Associate Medical Directors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to standards
• Validate and enhance the clinical relevance of projects across existing and new client accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to present educational and strategic information effectively

Required qualifications

• An MD, PharmD, or PhD degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in medical advertising, communications, or education
• Previous experience managing a team of direct reports
• Working knowledge of clinical or pre-clinical research principles
• Familiarity with PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and other clinical content sources
